Nora Bruno - chi sono
I design visual identities, lettering, and illustrated systems for food, artisanal, music, and cultural projects that value character and craftsmanship.
My approach combines curiosity, research and hands-on making to create work that feels distinctive and aligned with the people behind it.
Every project begins with understanding your goals, audience and vision. From early sketches through to refined outcomes, I work collaboratively and keep you involved throughout the process. No automated solutions, no off-the-shelf visuals. I believe that critical thinking cannot be automated.
My greatest satisfaction comes from guiding clients from an initial idea to a visual system that genuinely reflects who they are and what they stand for.
About me
I went from shying away from my calling with fear, to working on custom-made lettering illustration, logotypes & identities.
Moving to the UK, after years in Italy trying to fit in and working in a job that didn't represent me at all, catapulted me into an unknown reality. This change helped me reconnect with my true creative essence. From here, I naturally found my way into the graphic communication course at BCU, Birmingham.
My interest in letter shapes and print grew significantly, influenced by the city of Baskerville and the Industrial Revolution. Learning about calligraphy, typography, and printmaking techniques shaped my visual language.
Since then, my work has been infused with handmade solutions. I offer lettering, logotypes, brand identities, and illustrations for businesses and events looking to find their unique voice.

There is no space for standardised solutions but handcrafted designs that emerge from human interactions and truly embody their message. There is no room for templates here; every design is crafted with care because I believe that personality is a process.
I typically work with these 3 clients:
Newcomer or Confused > Things just don’t add up.
- You have a clear vision but need assistance in translating it into visuals.
- You're excellent at what you do, and because of this, you lack the time or energy to consider how to present yourself, both online and offline.
- You’ve lost your way. Perhaps you recently rebranded, but you’re unsure how to actually piece everything together.
- You have a brand identity, but something doesn’t feel quite right.
- You had "a logo" created, but you’re uncertain about how to use it.
Conqueror > the time has come!
- Your project is progressing well, and it's time to acknowledge that you can't manage its image entirely on your own.
- You need assistance to prepare for that yearly fair, that event or occasion, and you don't have the mental space to curate your presence in time for that important launch. It's clear that you need a capable helping hand.
Confident > One-off logotype, lettering illustration or print
- You have an identity but are looking to implement a bespoke print piece or series to communicate with your target.
- You are an agency looking to create a bespoke logotype or lettering piece for a brand or event
